Biggest Manics Regret

Did you ever have the chance to see them live but didn't? Saw something rare and didn't buy it? Others?

Sorry if this question has been asked.

Wasn't allowed to go to the Millenium gig, and am still a little bitter about it.

I was only 15, and my mum wouldn't let me go to Cardiff on my own.

I would have liked to have gone to more of the PPF tour, but it wasn't really all that practical. I feel fortunate I made it to at least one show.

Same here.

Me too. I was in America when they toured JFPL, and then ironically flew all the way back to America to see them again later that same year (I don't regret that part though)...

Amen to that.

I can't think of anything, maybe that I was too obsessed with Guns N' Roses in 91 - 92 to really listen, despite enjoying the songs on Raw Power, Headbangers Ball etc.

Or maybe not attending the Joe Strummer gig at Acton town hall in 2002, I could have met JDB if I had gone...perhaps not the biggest reason I regret that.

Didn't go to any of the Astoria 94 gigs. Remember seeing the advert in select magazine and not having the courage to go on my own.

My only regret is finding them too late, they played my favourite venue in 1998 apparently.

Mainly missed gigs. I've bought a hell of a lot of rarities anyway, and I've got some good prices.

Being only 18 and getting into the band just after the amazing-sounding SATT tour, only got the Big Gig, also not going to all 3 Roundhouse dates, the thought just simply didn't occur to me.

That they have a fantastic back catalogue yet ignore most of it in favour of playing the same songs again and again.

Past Present Future Tour, wasn't well enough to go, but would have loved to, for various reasons.
