ADVICE PLEASE!

So I'm going to travel to Newport to see the Manics for the third time. I would really like to maybe get an autograph or a photo opportunity this time round, especially since I'm going with someone else who is a big fan as well. I'd just like to know how to go about it. Where do I wait, do they do photos every gig? If anyone here knows I'd appreciate some feedback. Thanks.

Outside there will be tour buses and stuff...follow the fans . It's a bit hit or miss how long they take and whether they come out, but it's likely they will do, or some of them will. It's newport so there could be a lot of people to talk to backstage, so they might take a long time to come out/or nicky might be keen to get home....but I think if you wait outside you'll stand a good chance. I think other people can remember more specifically where in newport they come out.

What Takk said really, it's just a matter of waiting until they come out. Last year Nicky got straight on the bus when I saw them because of his bad back but yesterday he was out about ten minutes after the gig and signed/posed/hugged. Good luck!

Yeah, they seem to be coming out after the shows pretty quickly which is good. We were on our way back to the Travelodge before midnight in Edinburgh, and we were the last to leave. It was great.

They've been good this tour, but Wire's family's going to Newport, so I wouldn't get my hopes up too much- he might well just take them straight home. James at least will come out I would think (but he's paranoid about getting cold so he might be quick). If memory serves me right, we were seperated by a large fence at Newport last time (though they still came out and signed stuff, but it was very wierd)
