I'd love a dvd/cd set, but not from this tour. Maybe next year or the year after when they have another best of. Which I'm sure they will.

I've got the Leeds gig I went to on CD and DVD thanks to Strawdogrob who kindly made me a copy that he recorded, very good stuff.
A live album...doubt it'll happen, I'd end up skipping half the tracks cos like EMG and what not cos there's no energy to them, they're weak and dull now sadly. A live DVD might be better but again can't see another one.

don't the band, or James at the least, see a live CD as a "rip off" and thus would never allow one?
it was ace when they used to throw the odd live track on as a b-side. a new DVD would be appreciated, although i think all and sundry here would have wanted it to be from the JFPL tour.

Naw, live albums are boring and pointless most of the time - give us a live DVD so we can actually see what on earth's going on to get that proper live feel.

No ta. Take away how great James' voice sounds when you're there live, and the general buzz of a Manics gig, and it's just a below par version of the album track, with added mistakes and out of tune singing. Okay for the odd live track or bootleg, but not an official album.

I'd buy it. There can't be many bands on 10 albums who haven't put out a live album. I'd be more interested in an unplugged album, or something.

Yeah, this is pretty much how I feel about the situation.

Postcards From A Young Band - Taking some of the best and most pivotal live performances from throughout the Manics' 20 odd year career, or something like that. That would just be like the live tracks you got tagged on one of the 10th anniversary albums though. Still not bothered.

There should have been a DVD from the 'Past Present Future' tour as I think that was their most important tour of the last 5-6 years. It reconnected them with the fans and gave them what they wanted. Plus they were on fire!

A BBC sessions album would suit me, there are quite a few tracks they have only recorded for the beeb. & I'm pretty sure they have recorded enough full band tracks not to make it an all JDB acoustic affair.

Or this, Therapy? and Pulps ones are awesome so it'd be nice to see from them.
