In a parallel universe where Intravenus Agnostic,1985,Send Away The Tigers(or Imperial Bodybags), Anything from Journal and only postcards from the last 4 singles where released instead of Autumnsong,Robeson... then yes you could be more interested in the second day

Didn't Nicky tweet non-chronological, plus New Art Riot and Suicide Alley?

I expect they'll mess with the order but presumably they need to say which tracks will be which day, for people who are just buying tickets for one night and not both. But that's me and my logical mind and we all know logic doesn't score too highly where our boys are concerned!

I don't speak a word of Japanese, but is there any way I can buy a ticket? Even at the venue?

ETA: Never mind, figured it out. http://www.tokyogigguide.com/tickets This page says the Lawson code is 5 numbers though, but the one at the link at top has, uhm, more than 5.

Is this gig confirmed? Not on the official website. I havent seen the Manics in about 7 years but now live in Hong Kong so this is quite manageable though with work could only make the friday night. Many MSP fans in Asia??

I'm half considering being in Tokyo for these gigs, so just trying to see if it's possible. Have never been to Japan before and it appears it's pretty tricky for anyone from overseas to buy gig tickets in advance... any tips?!

^ I'm on the same boat! From what I read in the link I posted above, it should actually be possible to buy tickets from machines at the airport and at convenience stores. That's my plan for now, all up to the possibility of buying a ticket at Studio Coast on gig day itself. Assuming, of course, they don't sell out well before.

Now, I just hope someone who's done the motions can assure us.

Japan is always fascinating. It's so ashamed that this time I decided not to go for the Manics (I will turn to Fuji Rock this year

Been there for 2 times for 4 Manics gigs. It's really difficult to buy ticket for non-Japanese !!! What I did, I asked my Japanese friend (who live in my country) to buy and posted here, the easiest way. Concert ticket in Japan always sold out quick. Studio Coast is about 2400 ppl for capacity. The very first ticket number means the very first place you get in the hall. That's why people try to buy even Lottery ticket for the very special number !

But if you confirm going, make sure you handed ticket ! Just my humble advise.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I'm going to apply for a visa soon, and if I do get one, I can ask a relative in Tokyo to buy tickets for me. I'm just still on the fence because it's soooo expensive to fly to Japan, but I've been wanting to go back since I first went!

Thanks from me too! I'll look into possibilities of getting someone in Japan to buy tickets and post them out. Although I wouldn't just be going to see the Manics, I would be very upset if I timed my trip for these gigs and then arrived to find I couldn't get tickets!!
