Korn, Marilyn Manson, and Manic Street Preachers

Anyone know anything about this?

They would have been in Australia for BDO and they were fans of Manson, but that would have been an, um, interesting line up..

Was this the one responsible for Melody Maker's weekly picture of Manson's ringpiece? Korn aside, sounds good.

Just trying to imagine having a dinner party with You Stole The Sun blasting away or lines like 'Disco dancing with the rapists'!

Hyacinth Bucket would not be impressed!

lol, the mental image of Hyacinth Bucket + the manics…

'Richard, it may well be 'His Little Empire' but that doesn't mean we have to suffer such foul language in our own home! Now straighten that doily like I asked you.' etc.

lol. I remember some magazine voting it in the top 10 of Dinner Party albums, I think it was second to Sade's greatest hits

Remember reading a review of The Holy Bible by an American that compared Archives of Pain to Korn.

This was the Perth leg of the Big Day Out, not a 3 band bill.

In Melbourne, at their own headline show at the Prince of Wales on (I think) the 25th January, Marilyn Manson was in the crowd watching that night. Chris Cheney (of the living end, self confessed Manics tragic) was also there.

I was at that Melbourne show, held in the band room of a pub in St Kilda, a southern inner suburb of Melbourne.
