Being a US Manics fan sucks hard....
I tell ya. Tried getting the single or pre-ordering the album on iTunes........nothing. Can't watch certain youtubes here either. This sucks. I rarely paid for music in the past 10 years, with most of it probably going to the Manics, I was all on board with forking over my hard earned dollars for this and I can't get jack.
With the internet and stuff I don't know why this isn't available to us few fans in the USA. Probably some record company B.S. I guess I'll have to find it through............other means! |

I'd say go for it!
You tried your best to get it legally, it's not your fault it's not available. Besides that, getting stuff for free is less harming to the band than giving it all up at all. It is a little more harmful to the company, though, but it's the band we love here, not Sony Music or whatever. You can make them free advertisement in return. ^_-

I had no problem getting the single legally here in the US from the official site. I don't know a single other US Manics fans who was unable to get it from there either.

Both versions of the album are on iTunes Canada.
Amazon Canada has the import album - so I don't expect a North American version. I've ordered many CDs from either Amazon UK or the old Manics store. The VAT will be taken off and the listed price will be less. Those outside the UK cannot buy Amazon MP3 downloads, though. Odd, though, that they will send physical CDs. |

They probably gain more profit through the postal fees.

Well let me re-phrase.....it's difficult being a Manics fan in the US. I got to see them once in Philly for the JFPL tour, and it was amazing, there was like maybe 200 people there, they sounded fantastic, and I guess seeing them in such a small venue was something special. I guess that's something the UK fans don't get to see much.
I was just frusterated with the lack of support they get over here, it's probably from the B.S. record company politics. I hope they do tour the US sometime in the future, I'll be there. |

Should have quoted Frozendiva, but to lazy to go back to her post. We can buy Amazon mp3 here. |

You can order the physical copies from Amazon or HMV or Amazon UK or MyPlay (the official site). You can buy the mp3s from MyPlay. Really iTunes US is the only place you can't get them from.

Well to be fair iTunes is the only place I looked so far. I do like having the actual CD's when it comes to the Manics though, so I probably will order it. Still sucks being a US Manics fan though!
I wonder if they'll tour over here for this record. (That was sarcastic) |

I am apparently incorrect. Amazon Canada has new Rewind the Film listings with Sony Music Canada, to be released Sept. 17.
