James joining Shakin' Stevens and an Ed Sheeran collaborator at an event hosted by Alex Jones. Possibly the least cool thing he has ever daftly and no doubt kindly agreed to do.

There's been plenty of that - Tom Jones, The Beautiful South, not to mention one of M-People doing the percussion on GATS.

Fair point. And the Tom Jones collaboration is a guilty pleasure, in all honesty.

I hope that's sarcasm, for someone with such a great voice James doesn't get anywhere near the right pitch for it. From memory theres a moment on the Everything Live DVD (or possibly that backstage tour dvd, he's in a car somewhere ) where Nicky is clearly ripping the piss out of james' performance. When wire can criticize your vocals you're in trouble!

Not at all - I don't remember it sounding ropey but I haven't listened in a while. It's a first class song though.

Full of kindness is that James, just look at all the work he's done for the Missing People Charity in the past twenty years!
