Best Motown Junk intro?
So over the years, there have been different snippets of songs used to precede
Motown Junk when it was played live. I was wondering what the favourites are around here? For me, I was kinda fond of "She Sells Sanctuary" in 2007/8, although a big regret of mine was losing my ticket for the Cardiff Uni date of the first SATT tour when they were doing Condemned to Rock N Roll. Until they started playing the full song live last year...

It'll always be Baby Love (Nynex 97 is sublime).
Honourable mention to She Sells Sanctuary which is one of the greatest rock riffs of all time (Gretsch guitars FTW). |

Baby Love and Motown Junk will always be associated with each other for me.
Glasto '99 for sure.

Forgot about Into The Valley. I think that was around the SATT era.
I had the Tsunami cassette and they played Sweet Home Alabama. All Or Nothing was played c. National Treasures I think. Jump and She Sells Sanctuary are probably my favourites. |

Jump actually made me LOL at the time. She Sells Sanctuary was good but in a way I was kinda hoping they'd bust out the whole damn thing! But Baby Love is the definitive I reckon.

Other (presuming the Happy Birthday intro counts and presuming Nicky's fuck being 42 speech counts).

Baby Love at the Millennium Gig. Including Bradders singing "Baby loooooooooooove!" over the penultimate chord of the song. Just awesome.

I first heard Motown Junk live in 2001 with the Jump into, so I'll have to go for that. But they're pretty much all good. Did they do Into The Valley at one point or am I tired & confused?
