The cash-ins are finished. They will not play arenas never mind a stadium again.

I hope they just go and hibernate in Faster Studios and just write songs. They don't have to be for mass communication or critically acclaimed by JDB's drinking buddies in the music press.

I hope they just go and write for themselves. And then put it out. No fanfare. No Saturday morning cooking show shite. Just write some songs and we will listen to them.

I would counter with this: "You're Tender and You're Tired" got played at the Albert Hall, it's time for Tsunami to come back, YSMM seems kinda.. particularly relevant now, the whole second half of the album is awesome.

What would've been the 10th anniversary in 2008 was when they were thinking "we're on top here lads, SATT is the future" and perhaps didn't think an anniversary was the right idea.

Well Liverpool got Tsunami on an acoustic with backing on keyboards from Nick. So the light hasn't completely gone out.

Isn't that the first album track since 2005, not counting James acoustic?

One thing to consider is the fact Nicky doesn't seem particularly inspired by music lately which leads me to wonder if we'll hear anything as fresh as RTF or Futurology again. I don't want another SATT or PFAYM nor do I want a box ticking album. The most important thing is for the band to have something to say.
