Just saw on Facebook that the Manics are playing Times Square in Newcastle on the 5th August. Tickets go on sale Monday.

Oooh very nice, their own headline gig.
Hmm. Now the question is, do I book this or do I wait and see if they start announcing more dates? Do we think they are likely to start announcing London/Cardiff dates beyond this?

No other dates are expected as this ties in specifically with the Live From Times Square events.
However, other festival dates are expected and it does not rule out the possibility of a tour later (or even earlier) in the year.

I saw someone on Facebook say they are rumoured to play Leeds Millennium Square. Maybe they might do a few of these summer series gigs?
