The deluxe edition/folios

How amazing are these?! Six of them now!

By far some of the most beautiful items in my collection.
I have to say the SATT one may be the best. The collection of songs, the additional DVD as well as the booklet. Probably my favorite, along with Postcards From A Young Man. Plus the six of them look great next to each other.

Any idea if we'll get this treatment for older releases? I would love one for TIMT.... and all the others really.

Also - which one is your favorite?

I like the JFPL one. The material on the front feels so nice, and its a beautiful painting. Plus having Richeys lyrics and notes in unefited form is pretty cool. Really like the SATT one too.

I'd love to get the remainder extra songs/B-sides from the newer albums (like Postcards and Futurology), and not just demos, in these packages as well.

The JFPL is the best simply as it was the first and felt incredibly unique. Despite being officially their worst album, the PFAYM one is quite nice too. The NT one is incredibly cheap looking and cheap feeling. I haven't opened the RTF one and didn't get any more after that.

I still think the best re-issue is the THB 10th anniversary. Maybe the 20th one is a good item as well actually.

Also it's the only one where the inclusion of demo's felt justified as they were quite different to what ended up on the album.

I have the Futurology one and always wanted RTF too, because they'd look pretty together.

Would love a pic of all six!

I think the SATT one would be better if it wasn't for the awful 15 rating logo being printed on instead of being a removable sticker... I can't believe they did that. The shiny PFAYM one is cool but I'd have preferred it in silver rather than gold. (if they did a GATS one it could look amazing in a similar black and gold style). They're all nice in their own ways though, IMHO, I find it hard to pick a favourite really.

Seems fitting that a bunch of manics albums should look like a pile of books

I love em. Smell great, too. Only complaint I've got is they're alternating between gloss and matte, signatures on me Rewind The Film are a bit smudged.
