To be honest I don't mind receiving them close to the concert date as I have an habit of putting them in a 'safe place' and then forgetting where the 'safe place' was!!

I booked my ticket on the Friday evening they went on sale and it arrived the following Wednesday so I have no beef with Ticketmaster! I was suprised it had arrived so early!

My tickets are all booked up fo Wolves, did it the other day, even checked my credit card online to make sure i had been charged - just to mak sure - sad i know. But i'll defo be there! Just cant believe that Wolves is the nearest gig to me on this tour, its over 200 miles away!! Oh well, it'll be worth it! Can't wait to hear the album, and to see it ALL live will be amazing! This'll be possibly my 15th (ish) Manics gig, maybe more, I'm gonna have to go count up my ticket stubs for a definitive number!

My mum is pulling the 'I have nobody to look after the dogs, I have nobody to look after the child...'

I have a feeling I wont be coming.

I'm off to make 'The Thread Of Overpowering Despair'.

Yeeeaaahhh. *sigh* I've asked if I can go through with a friend and meet people there, and she said "You're not grasping the concept of being on a train in the arse hole of nowhere on your own in the middle of the night".

She isn't grasping the concept that its Manics.

I've argued with her all day, and she may be giving in to me. I don't see why we have to miss out on another gig cause her boyfriend and son are unable to follow simple instructions. [/rant]

I haven't got a ticket for this yet, but if I can get hold of one I'll be going on my own...am scared! Will be the first time I've been to a gig on my own, because I'm a big fat baby.

Plus, it'll be the furthest I've driven on my own too. Words of encouragement please...

edit: I now have a ticket for this!

Ooh that sounds good! I really can't emphasise how much of a BIG FAT BABY I am about these things. Plus, not enough people get to experience my driving skillz, which are WELL SKILL.

You'll be fine driving to the Civic, it's not too difficult to get to and the car park is well signposted.

Is anyone else who is driving going to be using the Fold Street car park which is 5 mins from the venue? And stopping behind to see the band after? Just thought some of us could stick together for the walk back, being dark and late at night and all that!

Ticket arrived yesterday! Really loooking forward to Wolves- it was the first place I ever saw the Manics back in 1996. Going to be meeting up with an old friend from school, and on the condition I don't wear any loose glitter or feathers I'll be getting a lift back to my folks in my lil brothers soft top! Looks like military chic for Wolves then.

Anything I need to remember other than to watch out for the bloody trams?
