In a non ranking order:
Sculpture of Man Prologue to History Just A Kid Everything Will Be Sepia Anorexic Rodin Too Cold Here Strip It Down Ballad of the Bangkok Novotel Failure Bound (the above list fairly arbitrary as it's impossible to single out ten really. There's many songs i'd include and exclude on any given day) Also, what about best Manics single: ie single and b sides combined. For me that has to be Faster / PCP. Those two lead tracks, combined with Sculpture of Man an incredible live rendition of New Art Riot, a fantastic cover painting (why are the Manics single covers so much better than the album ones?) and one of their greatest quotations makes it pretty much the most perfect release the Manics have ever put out (including their albums). It is the record i would give to non fans to introduce them to the Manics. An awesome package all round.

In an order suitable for an album: 1. Us Against You 2. Judge Y'rself 3. Comfort Comes 4. Donkeys 5. Are Mothers Saints 6. Spectators of Suicide (Heavenly) 7. Sorrow 16 8. Hibernation 9. Sepia 10. Patrick Bateman Bonus Track: Bored Out of My Mind I haven't heard any of the SATT B sides, however. Last edited by La Bohéme; 08-04-2009 at 08:08. |
