When I looked up Yell.com (where it's described as an underground car park apparently!) it said after 6pm it's 2 pound to get out. Which I knew anyway but it doesn't mention that it shuts at a certain time so I'm hoping you can park as long as you want! I wanted to stay behind last time but the band had to dash off so I must have looked at some sign or other that said it was ok to park late, just can't remember. Anyway, if I get a chance I will try and give them a ring! No harm in asking!

Want to meet up? I'm from The Black Country so I've lived 20 minutes up the road from Wolverhampton my whole life. I'm a useful 'tour guide' lol

Actually, can we finalise a meeting place for all FD'ers please? Outside the Civic would be the obvious choice, but we can always go for a drink pre-gig.

I can't believe the tour is so soon. Am going to try to persuade my hubby to take me to Glasgow as well, if I can get tickets.
Anyone know what capacity the Civic Hall is?

I don't know the exact capacity, but this will be my 4th time seeing the Manics there and I can tell you from experience it's usually a full house. Tight squeeze on the 'dance floor' certainly. But I never sit for a Manics gig

Sod it! I'm parking in the main car park and if I get locked in I'll just have to spend the night in the car won't I? (Thanks for your help anyway Mothers-are-saints!) Dunno when I'll arrive so I might just hang around merchandise stand and shout 'Tim! Tom! Richey! Abbey! Almathea!' etc at the top of my voice. Or 'Any FD'ers?'

There's a pub nearby called the Little Civic (where you'll also find the Midlands Box Office) which has a nice atmosphere.

There's the bar in the Civic itself if you want to get drinks! Anyway, if I don't bump into any of you before the gig I will be James - side, as close to the front as I can get, hopefully on the barrier itself! (If I don't have to fight off 30-something fanboys squealing about 'having' to see their heroes!)

Yeah, it's because you can stand with a seating and/or balcony ticket too.
They should stop that really.

Right, is anyone going to the gig and staying in the Travelodge?

Apparently the Travelodge is half 0.5 miles away from the train station, and the Civic is near the train station, so chance are we're going to get lost. Is there anyone that's waiting behind after the gig and then walking back to Travelodge who wouldn't mind us walking back with you?

EDIT: Ahem, I've just looked back. It's quite far, isn't it!

I think (and I really mean 'I think' because I'll have to double check...I'm so organised...) that we are staying in the Travelodge on the night of the gig. I imagine we'll be doing the same as you so walking back'll be fine.
