heyy, I never said you were being any of those things! I was just mentioning that for some people the fandom of a certain band can be a way of life : ) Like, some bands can get you heavily into art, literature, sports, lots of different things. Activities with other fans of the same bands, surely they all kind of are a way of life in some form?

Makes me cringe a bit too if I'm honest. Pretty much everyone in that video had glasses on

When was that Guildhall footage filmed? Was it the 2005 gig or 2007?

I reckon we'll be able to get it on DVD within the next few years
I'd like to know what songs are used in it as background music, etc. Hope they use a lot of stuff covering every album.

ooh, I might be able to see little old me then, though to be fair we were more towards the middle of the hall up until Motown Junk. 'Twas a strange experience for me that gig, after so many years of thinking I'd never get to see the band.

The thing I find about MSP live is that, even though I've been to a fair few gigs, I've watched them many more times on DVDs and videos on my PC.

So when I go to see them live, I occasionally drift away and forget I'm actually watching them in the room and not just some thing I'm playing on my PC, if that makes sense

For a minute there I thought I was back at primary school.

Leave people to like whatever they want to like. I think it's great that people can get so much pleasure out of one band. I'd give a limb to be that passionate about something.

It makes perfect sense, for me it was a case of seeing the band live was one of two things that I had really wanted to do since about midway through secondary school. Unfortunatly I was so hung up on the other one that I didn't really take the moment in as I should have.

And is it just me or are Sean's contributions going to be the best thing about this film?

He smiles! He's relaxed!

Yeah I didn't quite understand what was so funny about people wearing glasses either.

Sean comes across more opinionated and feisty than Nicky (well at least he did in the cut I saw at Sheffield anyway); it's brilliant
