Raspberries to the Autumnsong haterz! I was leaping about like an absolute loon! Just an absolutely amazing gig and I shall tell my work colleague she should have got hold of that spare ticket that was going at work because she missed an awesome one!

Ok, that was a contender for me best Manics gig yet. I mean, I was in Llandudno last week and don't get me wrong, I wasn't disappointed with that gig like a lot of people were. Just Civic was a better venue, better atmosphere and Wire seemed a bit high. And Sorrow 16! Amazing gig.

I know, very annoying! I'll put the rest of my pics up on this post rather than dotting them everywhere (well I'll try to!)

Will resize pic if it causes anyone problems! Whoops!

I was there but I was newly pregnant so sat up in the seats with a moody husband (now ex) who sat there bored with his eyes shut as if asleep all through the gig.

great pics!

amazing gig.
in the top 3 times i've seen em.
never been to wolves before, its a good venue.

james; he clearly loves being in a band right now.
he gave 110% for the whole set and was relaxed, chatty, witty and so approachable.
theres not many frontmen who can put on that much of a show and still be humble.
he must be ruined!
he's got so much energy.
guitarist,singer,songwriter,frontman,all round cheeky chappy geezer.
he's got it sorted really.

nicky; sad to see him struggle but proud at the same time.
i knew he wasn't going to be 'performing' the songs like he usually does but his playing really did benefit him not leaping about.
though he's always played it down he's a decent bass player.
naturally gifted he aint but it shows he's put alot of work in.
and lack of star jumps aside he still looked amazing.
some really sweet comments from him too, especially the one about him and richey doing the 'mumbles mile' (which is a pub crawl if you dont know wales)
he basically stood there and told everyone how much he missed him.

sean; in the shadows as usual but he's such an amazing player he doesn't need to be flamboyant.
solid, inch perfect and hitting alot harder than i've seen in the past.
you can usually tell when he's not that into it as some of his fills/timing go a bit sloppy and he just tickles the kit but last night his ride cymbal was bouncing all over the place.
he even had me air drumming to faster!

i really wish i could've done more than one show on this tour but ho hum.

a nice juicy cardiff date for christmas please!

My highlights would be JCEQT, M&SH, ME, YLAINE, YLU and Tsunami.
Faster wasnt as jumpy or indeed as i hoped, but a bloody great song nevertheless.

If anyone remembers a large hairy individual with a white spraypainted t-shirt saying "Ne Travaille Jamais" on the front and an eye on the back, and was literally wet with sweat, then that was me.

I agree that there did seem to be a few guys who were a tad tipsy, one hugged me on my way out.. which was odd. One older guy I met and chatted to was a really nice fellow though.

Either way, it was fantastic!
