Made Up Manics Fact: James Dean Bradfield once caught a bullet between his teeth, though nobody can remember a gun being fired at any time during the incident.

Nicky can fit 7 Babybels into his mouth.

In 2002, 7 years after his disappearance, Richey James Edwards scored a hat trick for Wales in their 4-1 win in Lithuania. All 3 goals were penalties, awarded for fouls on fellow Welsh striker Sean Moore. No video evidence of the match exists.

Nicky Wire wears a wig as he is completely bald, Sean sometimes uses it as a duster.

Nicky Wire was born in communist USSR and smuggled to Wales by the Queen as a present for Prince Charles in 1978.

Nicky Wire's feather boa is actually the remains of his beloved pet emu, Aneurin. He takes it everywhere and cannot bear to be without it.

Natwest Barclays Midlands Lloyds was used as the background music on a Halifax TV advert in 1994, until they realised their mistake.

"It's okay, we've got another one lined up, it's called Yes!"

FACT: Whenever Nicky talks about Richey 'calling him up', he's referring to the arcane and byzantine ceremonies whereby the lifeblood of virgins was given up in order to summon him from the dark plane of Teral. Luckily, once the band started getting fan-clubs, they had an almost inexhaustible supply.

FACT: After the TIMTTMY sessions, James and Sean felt that Nicky needed taking out of himself. To this end, they took him for surprise fifteen-mile runs, jumped out at him from behind doors wearing vampire masks, surrounded his house with 'Crime Scene - Do Not Enter' tape while he was at the shops, entered him for Big Brother, wrote to the Birmingham Six claiming that Nicky started a campaign to keep them locked up forever, knocked on his door at exactly 3:30 in the morning every day and sent him a turd in a box for his birthday. The result was a little song called Wattsville Blues.

FACT: My heart is yearning, but Paris is burning. Paris is burning all night long. My heart is dreaming, but Paris is screaming. Paris is screaming all night long.

Sean Moore frequently invites Nicky and James to his basement, where they watch Nick Naysmith and Wayne Murray beat each other with leeks.
