Just got mine. Bah, corner is squished. Packaging looked sturdy enough; I'm sure it happened in transit, it was on the floor of my apt building by the mailboxes. Was able to smooth it out a bit.

Just wanted to bitch about it to people who would understand

Indeed. Stuff gets damaged in transit all the time - it sucks but that's life. Sony have other stuff to worry about.

Same here, no worries. I quite like it with just the minimal sticker label.

Ooh, mine's got two stickers on it. One of them appears to have a review that someone couldn't be arsed to finish on it.

it's still listed on the Rough Trade website. of course, that doesn't necessarily guarantee that it's in stock. i pre-ordered another record that comes out at the end of the month so hopefully they'll be able to ship both together. if it's out of stock by then, it's no big deal.

I just ordered it two Fridays ago. For some reason, my credit card was rejected, so I guess I'm not getting it. But, apparently, it was still available then. (I can't figure out why my card was rejected. I used it just fine a few days afterwards.)

Look at your bank account closely, there's card cloners out there - I'm really careful with my card and mine's been cloned twice in 4 months. Your credit card company may have stopped it and not been able to get in touch with you or something

Oh, they called me already. That's how I know my card was rejected for this. They wanted me to confirm the last four transactions made, one of them being with Rough Trade. It was like, "push one if you authorised the following: X amount (I forgot what it was) to Rough Trade, London, which was rejected on Wednesday, January 27." The other three transactions were okay.

Has anyone else played the vinyl ? The whole thing is bass heavy and almost sounds in mono. I'm sticking to my mp3 downloaded to minidisc.

If it's been hand delivered I want dirty finger prints all over a copy. With some of the ones sent out by Rough Trade, I'd be concerned about getting a signed one with a bent edge or something. Good spot anyway.
