Really? He certainly wasn't driving in 2007...he told me Rachel was panicking about going into Labour with Stanley and not being able to get to the hospital..

James said he tried to drive but he couldn't. At the time they were young we all know that only Richey had driving license, since then I guess only Sean started to drive.

Meanwhile... I've driving licence too For 7 months now

Sean used to bring his Mini Cooper into my brother's garage. Apparently they thought he was a surly bugger and the back seats were always oddly scuffed up, possibly from trying to wedge the odd snare drum in there!

I certainly didn't think Nicky could drive. If he does, he'd need something fairly roomy just to fit his lanky frame into comfortably.

James told me he couldn't drive when we met them backstage in Brum. I was offered a drink and said I was driving and that the other half couldn't and he said he couldn't either.

Sorry, but any excuse to mention meeting them

I think I'm probably wrong since no one can corroborate it, but I was fairly sure Nick could drive.

I've got a vague memory of either Nick or James saying that they were taking lessons, that's probably where you got it from.

I wonder if he is limited to what he can drive, my mate is a 5ft 2 bloke and some of the cars he has had over the years he has had to have blocks fitted to the pedals

Yeah, I never drove Ade's Saab for that reason, I was too short to drive it comfortably. In fact, I was too short to sit in the passenger seat comfortably, my feet didn't reach the floor. Bloody Scandinavians and their bloody height

I miss my Mini Cooper, although it was a 'real' one, not one of those new fangled ones that Sean had.

He's got a car - its his car cos he cleans it. Women, they can't clean a car properly.

I would be very surprised if he had learnt to drive though - as he never seemed to have much inclination and he can barely even cross a road without getting lost.

Hasn't James tried having lessons a few times? I dunno if he ever got anywhere, but driving and giving up smoking seem to be things he has a go at every couple of years

You might be thinking of Cardiff 2007 December as he left that pretty fast in a car, but in the passenger seat, he did some waving I believe.

After that would have been Newport in 08 but they had a driver then.
