I'd love to hear BDOMS. I think Facing Page: Top Left would be a great one for the acoustic slot in future tours, but probably a bit soon for JDB to want to keep it.

An acoustic version of Yourself? How much fun would that be...

OMG...i might have to start worshipping them literally.

I LOVE this song, although it's going to be acoustic right? I'd love to hear a full band version like on the record, but in the past it has been acoustic. Hopefully they do this and Ready for Drowning at the same gig (Birmingham or London) as they are two of my favourite songs off my favourite album i haven't heard live in person yet.

Absolutely. I'd be interested to know if this rehearsing-loads-of-random-songs goes on before every tour, but this is the first time we've known about it; or whether they are actually doing it to mix the setlists up. Time will tell I guess.

I can imagine that being the case. It must be awkward for James to sing.

I hope it isn't just rehearsing, hopefully the tour will be more like the PPF tour or the second SATT tour where we got a fair amount of stuff that's not normally played. That said it was rumoured they rehearsed Loves Sweet Exile for the FD tour and never played it. That's one i would like to hear live, in it's disco form like on the GATS tour of course!

Confirmed in today's NME - Wire writes the Twitters but Sean posts them.

I'm sure they always rehearse a load of random songs, if only to break up the monotony of rehearsing.

I think it would be the opposite actually. Go over the hits so everyone is happy with certain fiddly parts. Ok Wire what songs you thinking of for this tour - ok lets try them. These work, these dont. A couple of gig setlist run throughs. Out of there.
