Thank you for posting, I wonder if it will just be the two dates, as it seems a long way to go just for two nights

Or even not that far: a tour in Europe?

What about a tour in Belgium?

Anyway, great news for Japanese fans.
Ah, if I had the money....

I wouldn't bank on that. After all the moaning about money lost on their recent N American tour, I should think they're not that eager to come back any time soon. Again though, I suppose it would depend on how well the new album does in N America. I'm not sure it will make waves, but anything's possible.

They did mention almost religiously that they'd be back in 2 years, but after 10 long years of neglect, I don't think many of us are holding them to that promise.

Anyway, lucky Japanese fans! Hope all those checking them out have a fab time.

All that way for two dates. Do they have much of a following in Australia/NZ? That would seem the logical follow on unless they do more dates in Asia.

I'd love to go see them in America if they played the East Coast again after missing out last time

I know they've got families and everything now, but going along with this "mass communication" vibe I'd love to see them do a huge world tour.

When I/we spoke to Sean in New York, he seemed quite confident that they'd be back in the US fairly soon. He was well aware of the financial loss they were making and was talking about doing more summer festivals to finance a return tour. Don't quote me on this, obviously, but he said something to that effect.

Well, given the reception they received in Toronto, I'm sure if they do set up some US dates, I can't see why they would ignore the Toronto market...in fact, I'm confident they could play more then one show here.

Also, if you're reading this boys, should you make a trip over the Atlantic, do try and play Montreal as well. There were so many fans from Quebec at your show in Toronto and they were at a loss as to why you skipped one of the biggest music markets in N America. Seriously, who doesn't play Montreal?

Hope you're right, Ben. I guess we'll see next year.

I'm not sure that's a logical follow on really. They have a history of playing just a few (maybe 2-4) Japanese dates with most recent album releases. I doubt it will lead to a Aus or US tour....

Well, when I said the US I meant North America (sorry! ). I'm sure any tour over there would include at least a date in Toronto.

I agree. I reckon Vancouver would have been a good stop over as well. Show the west some love!

Been talking incessantly about going back to Australia for at least a month now and all my friends out there have offered places to stay in the last few weeks. It might be what tips me over the edge into actually going. Would be amazing admittedly, the price of the flight is the only obstacle.
