Am I the only one that thinks it was a suitable choice of closer then? Epic yet understated, one of the better songs on the album. Second or third best I think.
Hazelton Avenue is pure cringe, but not more than The Descent.

Seriously though, what is The Decent about. It sounds like something I would have written when I was 16, and that's not a compliment.
here we go then 1) Golden Platitudes - brilliant song, production tried to ruin it though. 2) Don't be Evil - epic yet understated, good song. 3) Some Kind Of Nothingness - good song, sinful production. 4) Auto Intoxication - ok, has a certain class. 5) I Think I've Found a Billion Balconies Making Entertainment on Hazelton Avenue 4Eva - filler, faceless music. 6) The Descent - dreadful Haven't heard the title track yet. Hazelton Ave - Shite.
The Descent - Shite The Future has been here 4 Ever - Shite (might have been a belter with James singing) The rest is Superb in my opinion, the Title track is fucking amazing, as is a Billion Balconies, All we make is entertainment, Don't be evil...this pisses on everything since Everything Must Go...Super Riffy and Super Melodic. Ace Production...
