Apologies if this has already been done, but everytime I see the Tim Roth picture I can't help but think of this...http://www.amazon.co.uk/Jammy-Smears.../dp/B00013BOBK

It's a little annoying, it would be nice with some more colour but it's generally a very good cover I think, the Manics are brilliant at choosing them, I still love Stare from JFPL.

It is a good cover. A young idealistic man, full of hope at the big, wide world (discovered through postcards), discovering that life isn't black and white. The Polariod camera with the picture still developing. Good cover.

I think the artwork for the single should have been the artwork for the album, it's so perfect.

The Tim Roth pic does nothing for me. Standard sort of thing for a band at this stage of their career.

Yeah. The album demands a bit of colour from the packaging.

Tim Roth has a dodgy nose at the best of times, but this picture gives the illusion of it being totally Steve Bruce.

I wish it wasn't a famous person on the cover.

It's a bit like a Smiths cover in that way.

I haven't listened to the whole album yet but I'm absolutely addicted to "The descent (Pages 1 & 2)". But only few people seem to be really keen on it.

I actually LOVE the Godfather 3 verse in The Future Has Been Here 4 Ever.
Nicky sings it well.

The band can do a lot better than this. It is easily their worst album since Know your enemy. It is such a missed opportunity as the production style - the inclusion of the gospelly bits, the strings - all work but are let down by really poor and bland songs. There are a couple of solid tracks but i can't imagine any of them standing the test of time against the other material. It sounds like a below par Ocean colour scene album.

NB - Why were the gospel choirs not used on Lifeblood! - Would've been amazing!

Nah, Lifeblood is full of keyboards and is quite moody in its way, a choir would sound completely out of place and would kill the ambience. I think it was overused in PFAYM but it adds to the uplifting nature of the songs.
