I think it is £3 or £4 in Fopp's. Has been for a while too, cos I bought it for one of my friends for that price.

FD sold 26,000 copies this year? That's cool to hear indeed. Never seen it pop into the top 100 at any point in recent years but it's good to know that sales are trickling over all the time. Just a shame it has matieral up to 2002.
Saw Postcards in HMV today, it's £7.99. I moved a few copies about to spread the word. I think the album has sold roughly just over 60,000 units in UK.

Forever Delayed was in the iTunes top 100 for a good few weeks before and after the album release. It's great that it's still selling and hopefully converting more fans! I bought a copy from HMV a few months ago because I needed it for my car

Shows the Manics still have a reasonably decent casual following. Even if they don't rush out to buy the singles any more!

Okay, really paranoid that someone from the band is lurking on the forum now It's like Nicky's just corrected my earlier jab.

The Wire seems to like that Fast Show jape. He also used it on their intro at the start of Top of the Pops once when they were on to play ADFL.

"Hello, we're Manic Street Preachers and tonight we're on Top of the Pops...which is nice" - something like that anyway.

It actually worries me that I remember stuff like that! Geeeeeeeeeeek.

As long as he didn't have to say 'I'll get my coat' halfway through the song.

It is indeed. But judging by Takk's comment, did JDB not write the lyrics for it? Was it another song written by John Niven?

The Fast Show? Nicky is still living in the mid 90's.
