I've got some really good friends. Shame I owe one of em nearly £200 now... We decided to go as soon as we heard Pulp were gonna be there. We were gonna go to Hyde Park, but figured that it'd cost us not much less than an Isle Of Wight ticket to get there, get a ticket and stay the night. It's a laughably hit and miss lineup so far though, I'm happy with it.

Are there many people from here going to this? I'm working there in the Welfare Tent but have made sure that I have the Sunday night off! Will probably be on my own for the Manics set so if anyone wants to meet up for a few drinks and to watch them that would be cool! Will be my 1st time seeing them at festival so will be interested to see how it differs from a normal gig

I'm going with a couple of girls from work, sadly not nic which would have been brilliant as we just laugh the whole time we're together and i couldn't wish anyone who i'd rather go with (good luck nic with the competition). It's cost so much for the ferry, £132's return I can't wait to see the Manics again, they're like a drug, can't get enough!! Fingers crossed for the itunes gig.

You pair are a match well made!! Is Basement Jaxx playing then Louise? You should check otherwise you might get disappointed

Wish I could go, never been but just not meant to be for me either.

Wow, what?!

I'm National Expressing it from Hull (nightmare) for £50 return. Well, not straight to the festival, but gets us to Ryde through the Southsea hovercraft thing. Think it was only about 15 minutes on the bus from there last time, hope so!

Car broke, only time he can fix it is when I'm meant to be driving to IoW. Plus it's going to cost about a grand to fix anyway, so even if he could do it at another point I could probably do with hanging onto my cash!

I'm fighting the urge to pack for this now. It's too early, isn't it?

That ferry fare is outrageous. And they wonder why people don't bother to take holidays in the Uk and go abroad on cheap package holidays.

Hope there's some good TV highlights and not just ADFL like there was in 2004 when they played there. I really wanted to go back in 2004, the line up was amazing. Still never been to a festival though, can't say I'm arsed.

Yes. I usually do my festival packing on the day, really doesn't take long.
