Lovely, lovely, lovely gig - Masses sounded ace to finish, excellent free booze however I was driving but HI-LAR-IOUS to see everyone pissed and canapes were good, but could have done with more veggie options, hi to everyone I saw and thanks to Dex for my lovely photo with James.

I do love Nicky Wire, did I mention that?

Thanks are due to one particular person who was generous and kind enough to let me be their +1, so thank you!

Thank you for letting me be your +1. I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday! Did I mention just how much I love JDB?

Thank god I wasn't too drunk last night, otherwise I would have probably declared my undying love for James. To James.

I'm still buzzing from last night. Still can't believe I managed to get a setlist, something I never usually am able to get.

All I have to add is that it was brilliant Nicky opened his eyes and everything. Many many thanks to Bloo for getting me in.

(and of course they'll clash with Suede. I wouldn't have expected any less But they have to do more than three, right? )

WHAT FREE BROWNIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - i missed that!

Nice to meet Karen properly, i think Magicalberte was with her mum?? - Sorry about the swearing by everyone else, but i thought you're younger than 17 lol, yes Nicky is very good with people asking for pics.

I think i was the only person to get something signed by Sean, my God Save The Manics EP.

I asked Nick about Bon Jovi 'this is all just rumour bullshit'.

I also asked him about his teams newer signing Steven Pienaar 'Average' lol.

I'm more worried abut them clashing with Brian Cox, Ben Goldacre et al on the Uncaged Monkeys tour.

It sounds like you all had a great time last night, I'm jealous as hell, but even if I'd had a ticket it would have cost me a couple of hundred quid for travel, hotel and lost wages and I could probably do two arena dates for that.

Well that was the BEST FUCKING GIG EVER. Free coffee in the queue, sheltered for most of it and from the moment we went in there were silver trays of beer and wine and the bar was free and the waiting staff kept bringing burgers and fried chicken and dips and smoked salmon crostinis and bruschetta to the barrier (piece of plastic rope) along with drink refills. I was quite pissed by the time the band came on but we had space to dance the whole set.

After the gig trays of CHOCOLATE BROWNIES were brought out for us. Every fucking gig should end with that.

Lovely setlist. No specifics about May...but was told it would clash if I had tickets for Suede.

James was chatty as hell. Utter delight to speak to him afterwards and to Wayne. I am going to be quite hungover in the morning I think.

Literally best gig ever.
I'm so jealous.
if they crash with Suede then this means more the second half of May. and hopefully no Brixton. then it means if I have any exams in May it's better to do them in the beginning of May.
Free brownies?? I want one. we should have free brownies and some Babycham after every gig, we should take blankets, sit on the floor and have a picnic, and ask the band to join. omg imagine picnic with Nicky (and James and Sean naturally), it would be so fun!
I'm so happy there's no Bon Jovi thing. very very happy.

And it was lovely to meet you too Dex! I managed to get Sean to sign my setlist, when he was sat in the car.

Gah, I'd forgotten about that - I'm going to the London one. Even if they don't clash it's going to be quite a week.

Dear James, Nicky, Sean & all other concerned parties. There are three other perfectly decent weeks in May. Might I suggest one of them? They're really very nice.

Aww Rel, it would've been nice to see you, but seeing as there was a huge financial cost involved, you did the right thing. At least you'll be able to hear the gig next week.

Yeah, he's too relaxed when he's not worrying about me sneaking up behind him with a net and some chloroform.

It was an amazing gig, had a wonderful time. James looked/sounded brilliant. Met James after and he 'saved my life!!' well, pulled me away from being squashed by a car, i might of exaggerated a little about saving me Anyway, got to give him a kiss on cheek and lovely photo with him. He is my hero. Can't wait till May and IOW fest. Lovely to see everyone, and thanks again Lindz, you know why. xxxx
