I didn't realise it at the time as the atmosphere in the Miners Institute was getting pretty decent, but they played Suicide Alley really slow.

It was great to hear it but it lost a lot of speed I thought and lost the punk edge it had, might just have been the stream.

Most likely Robin Turner (@robinturner on twitter) - journalist who did the interview with Nicky about libraries in the Guardian last week, was in charge of the Manics' twitter during various gigs they've done recently, amongst various other things.

No! The guitars it meant to go "DUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUN... I'm going down"

Instead it was DUN-DUN-DUN-DUN-DUN-DUN-DUN-DUN-DUn... for a piece of 1-2-3-4 punk that's a criminal mistake to make

Definitely!

But I'm sure they've done it with other songs as well.

It's kinda easy to play, shame on James if he was afraid of that.

I bet Nicky or Sean was the culprit.

It is easy to play and the pace isn't exactly hard either on the guitar.
