Thing is, Cardiff Motorpoint Arena/CIA is probably the largest venue on this jaunt isn't it? I wouldn't be shocked if we got a more "mainstream" set on Saturday. Then again it would be delightfully perverse if they went out and played "The Intense Humming of Evil" or something.

The set, aside from one or two songs seems to stay consistent with Manics gigs, but I remember last year I was disappointed that "Sleepflower" got dropped from the set by the time the tour rolled into Newport, and the Newport crowd booing when James mentioned there would be no LB tracks in the set that night.

Maybe they'll have a surprise up their sleeve for Cardiff (c'mon Archives of Pain...)

I guess it all depends on what mood Nicky is in. Sometimes they roll into town and he's pissed off and we get a strange set inclusion or two.

I'm thinking here of Millenium Eve when they played "Of Walking Abortion" out of nowhere purely to piss off the rugby boys. "Hey James, I think the bar sold three million pints during that one"

In which case, they'll play it if they also get a cut of the bar profits. (I jest!)
