Tracey it was lovely to see you again. It was a shame you didn't get a moment with James but from where I was standing, it looked worse than a rugby scrum down there. I was stood on top of a load of steps and you could see so many people grabbing him from all angles, I don't think he even knew which way to turn. Next time

Aaw, good that you alll had a great concert.! *is not jealous at all*
Tracey, first thing I looked for in this thread was if you finally had met James, I'm sorry it didn't turn out like you wished for.
Come to Amsterdam next time, it was quite relaxed there. (But you don't get "Solitude Sometimes Is" - your decision)
;-)

After 4 hours queueing and battling with the multiple doors of doom i bagged a spot on barrier to left of James - (thanks to a kindly fellow FD member bless her !!) and settled down for what felt like was gonna be a cracker

Wasnt wrong either !!!

Have to say it was a top show with some pleasant suprises in the set list, there was plenty of energy onstage which the audience responded to with much enthusiasm-always good when band/crowd lock into the same vibe

Also fab to see Nicky have a bit of a rant-something i have missed greatly

Finally nice to see some familiar faces even if i was too shy to say hello

The last time I did stage door at Wolves it was mental. There were so many people he was backed onto the steps of the tour bus and had to sign stuff from there. Though he did throw out sweets then, which was nice. Unfortunately when there's so many people it just turns into a mob affair. Poor guy.

Was good to see familiar faces both during and after the gig, I was too shy again after 14 years of doing it to say hello to anyone!

Also apologies to everyone on the barrier for witnessing me as a photographer in a black shirt singing along whist taking my press shots! Couldn't have been a nice sight to see. But then again, all the other photographers were miserable boring idiots!

OWA, MJ, SB and MATC were highlights for me. Wasn't overly keen on the soundfile during ADFL but hey, epic concert again in my hometown!

See you in Cardiff!!! :-) Gx

At least some people managed to get a quick word with him anyway. Always next time!

Met two nice Scottish fellas as well, don't think they are on here though. It was unusual to see ping pong haha, and a lady next to us without any trousers on, just knickers haha. And JDB's plec...what more can I say? Might frame it!

I know, it was my first time at the stage doors and my mistake was asking politely repeatedly 'can i please have a picture' and not just barging in there like everyone else...the one pic I got was so blurred and JDB was looking away! ahh well...cant believe it was my first time there though...didnt hear a lot of what they were saying as I was a tad starstruck at being so close! great gig

I was really hoping these two posts would be related.
