Question Vinyl pricing-help?

hey guys!

I'm gonna sell my Mint/VG condition duplicates of GT, THB, LB and FD on vinyl and would appreciate help with fair pricing. don't wanna over-charge but don't wanna sell too cheap either.

thanks in advance!

By duplicates do you mean they're bootlegs, repressings or ones you have more than once?

GT: £10-15
GATS: £15-25
THB: £20-35
LifeBlood: £10-20

Dunno about FD, but in actual fact I paid a fiver for GT, a fiver for GATS and a fiver for Lifeblood thanks to an awesome FD'er.

the general rule is cutting eil.com price in half, there might be some exceptions though, all depends on the condition, how rare they are, if they are picture vinyls etc. I can't say the price of these, it's good to follow ebay prices though, some are mad, like that NME Originals I'd say definitely not more than 30-35 quid 4sure.

@Lewis - GT is a double vinyl, it's surely more expensive than what you wrote.

@Malin - are they first editions or new pressings? price falls if it's newer one. except those new audiophile versions (eg. KYE - I got a copy for a counterpart of 20quid)

I see GT going for about a tenner on eBay lately. I've seen the odd 20, but it's only really got any value when it's the American pressing...

my gosh, I stopped checking ebay because I'm permanently skint and it seems I completely lost the touch with nowadays prices. I know when I come back browsing it, it'll end up very bad.

I think it's one of the things that is always debated. I might be wrong, but I don't think I've ever seen a real one.

My girlfriend sold the picture disc 12" of Generation Terrorists for £50 about 6 years ago. I suspect the value has decreased since.

THB on black vinyl is a myth. If there are any copies floating around, they're most likely bootlegs.
