Don't pre-order! If you wait a few weeks there will always be another offer from the official site that includes a matchbox full of Nicky's pubes or something. Hold back, there's plenty of time yet.

Still not sure whether to get this. Seems like a bit of a waste of money. Might as well ask for it for my birthday I guess.

If they charge 80 quid again they better justify it better with this one and offer more than a T shirt, a cassette tape that barely anyone can play anymore, a DVD that last half hour, and a book that someone with 10 minutes on their hands could have mass produced. I'll still buy it no doubt

Maybe Postcards WAS universally critically acclaimed! Just a few fans that have moaned about it!

Postcards From A Young Man album – the band's tenth which was greeted with universal critical acclaim.
(Big underground NASA bunker with huge screens, computers and people with headphones rushing about. A general enters and one of the scientists rushes up to him)

Scientist: Sir! We've got actual contact from a distant solar system!
General: My God... what does the message say?
Scientist: "Why didn't they make Golden Platitudes a single? And what's up with that video of Nicky in his bathrobe?"

I didn't before you posted the link, but it looks like it's part of a series of old albums in cheap sleeves in a cheap box like the set below.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Original-Al...1944402&sr=1-1

I'll be giving that one a miss.

Ahh right, yeah I'll probably give it a miss.

As for National Treasures I want to wait until the Manics website to hopefully have a release of the album on all formats.

I really like some of PFAYM. It's just a shame they decided to never play them bits live. Or release them as singles.

The release date on that box set says 26th September!? Does no one really know what the actual release date is? From three sources, we have three completely different dates. lol. although, to be honest, im not even gonna buy it, i am just praying for another tour that actually recognises the existance of the Southeast of england (unlike the one earlier this year!)
