What, so they're releasing what looks like a greatest hits vinyl with Q magazine in a special edition? Hmmm, weird, and it has a new song on there? Interesting. I'll maybe ask someone to buy me it for a birthday present. Is the magazine totally about the Manics like that NME one in 2002 or just a few pages?

I've been wondering about that final point. My feeling is that it will be the normal magazine just with the Manics on the cover though.

It's normal cos there's loads of other artists in it too and 25 covers.

So the Manics album won't be with every copy then, only the ones with the Manics on the cover I assume?

As it's going to be the results of the Q25 poll that you could vote in (the one where you moved the covers into order) it'll amount to little more than a Radiohead fanzine.

Yep, vinyl will be a special one in WH Smith with Manics on. I presume the others are normal price.

I will stop mocking this release eventually. Maybe.
That should be it!!! It keeps getting in my head too and reminds me of cramped school assemblies and the smell of plimsolls and gravy.

when's this special Q coming out then? And can I actually be bothered to go into WHSmug and buy it?

is the special magazine just an ordinary issue of Q, with extra Manics things in it? Or is it an all-Manics special stand-alone issue?

(if the latter, i might buy it just for that)

(if the former, i'd rather eat my own puke than buy Q)

Deets, I bought my copy of Q Glastonbury 2011 on the website and they delivered it straight to my house, so perhaps we'll be able to buy this special issue and receive it at home as well...

That's not true, I've often gone in there to use their useful air-conditioning when I've been unable to cool down any other way.

The picture from the artwork in Q, of the girl standing on the railway line, is a million times better than the cover.

Is it not the cover for the vinyl?

Apparently so. Better than the CD cover still stands.
