I've rung up my bank and they've told me to fill a Visa Dispute Form for this. I love how the person on the phone instantly said 'is the payment from Bauer Media?' and I didn't even tell him who it was haha! Anyway going to fill that out and get it sorted. I MIGHT buy it on the way home if it's still in WHSmith.

I got an e-mail from them on Friday (the 14th) saying they'd put me as a Mr rather than Miss on the dispatch label and would this cause a problem upon delivery (it wouldn't, especially seen as my dad has the same initial as me, so unless he decides he wants a Q Magazine and a Manics vinyl, I should be fine ). They also said it should be with me within 10 days, so sod's law it will arrive this week some time when my parents are away and no one is at home.

This. I can find Q here, but since this is a special edition, I didn't want to take any risks.

I ordered at the end of september and got an email saying it would be shipped in 28 days. It's been 22 and I've gotten nothing. But my card was charged two weeks ago. Ugh, this cost me around $30 too.

Well now I'm confused whether or not to dispute my transaction or not if they've told you they're dispatching yours. I'm tight on money at the minute and want to buy it in WHSmith whilst I go down to the bank and put my form in.

How long is this issue of Q out for? Is it monthly or weekly?

if anyone has been charged and not had confirmation of shipping i suggest you contact your bank and put a disputed transaction claim in.

i can't right now as they're my only hope, in my best Princess Leia voice, of getting this. will wait and see what reply i get; if none by the end of the week i will just go and get the transaction reversed.

I'm fairly sure that's not the case? I'm sure they can charge right away if they like.

For calling international, skype would let you do it fairly cheaply.

When I ordered my magazine on the 23rd September it said: "Your goods will be delivered within 28 days." so that gives them until Friday for it to arrive. If not then I'll send my form off to my bank to dispute the payment.

I'm glad Q is monthly so if it does mess up I can buy another copy!

just called this, apparently Bauer media aren't dealing with this now and Q is? he had to speak to his manager and he will find out who is dealing with it and email me hopefully today (read tomorrow) I'm just gonna go and buy a copy tomorrow and call bauer to demand a refund cos the left hand doesnt know what the right one is doing.

I'd assume so... rang off my mobile, but would be cheaper to call from landline, press option 2 when prompted.

Right I gave them a call. The man said that there was originally a stock issue, but that has been resolved and it's just a matter of waiting for my order to be processed. And that I should wait 28 days from the original payment date (in my case 7th) and was told to ring them up if it's not here by the end of the month.

Still it's pretty shit this service, but at least I have A BIT more information on this.
