Sean looks good. James' beard needs to go or dyed to match his hair.

Was lovely to meet Manicbird! Oh, and the band The band were great with signing, but security were a bit strict. Loads of people handed their one item to security, still clutching their other stuff, and Sean just took then and signed them anyway! So give the guard your one item, and give the band anything else you want. There weren't that many people at Brum, signing done in 20 minutes. So it's not gonna keep them there forever.

Oh, Manicbird, we saw the boys leave x

I thought it was pathetic to be honest, security were rushing people along when people could have taken their time to have a little bit of a chat with the guys. I queued up with Paul (Archivesoftherevollover) from around 10am and I was about 6th in line but when they told people to get in, they gathered everyone up in a big area and then it was pretty much a free for all. Badly planned and executed, someone needs to get the sack!

they'd have to sack everyone then cos that's how HMV signings are run. It's good that the band agreed to sign other stuff and ignored security. Had i gone, i would've taken my vinyl with me

It's a bit silly giving the band so little time with the fans if it's all over in 20 minutes. I would have taken more stuff but I've already got most of my things signed by them in the past. I was hoping for a bit of interaction with the band but these things never happen as you want them to. Sean was really cool, Nicky was just grinning constantly and James looked a bit pissed off but cheered up a bit when he saw me, which was nice.

I got an email today telling me about manchester...as far as I am aware that's the first time I've heard from the band about the signing? That's pretty pathetic from a management point of view.....telling me I could go to a signing hours before it starts? Even if I was in manchester that would be tough.

That's pretty shit. I thought they would publicise it during one of their TV appearances at the very least. I'm sure they put something up on the official site about it a while back but I can't be too sure.

I think I went away semi-happy because James and Sean remembered me, and that's good enough for me. I just didn't like the way it was conducted, that's all. The pic is comedy gold!

If I wasn't on FD I wouldn't have known anything about the signings. Don't know if everyone gets their email at the same time but 13:50 doesn't give many people time to get there! Maybe in their two years off they can look for new management and PR. If they ever read this, I could do a better job
