The 02 ticket office is open at 12. I still can not understand why Seetickets claim we can not pick up our tickets until the doors open. Gutless hope I don't turn into Wire Mode and buy a sparkly bright pink t-shirt for you

There are plenty of other trains, apart from the Thameslink, which go from Gatwick to central London as well. You should be fine.
