I'm quite surprised that someone from the band hasn't turned to Sony and just said "Ahhh come on"
This seems like the sort of thing that Nicky would have kittens to see released.
Imagine all of the promo interviews: "It's a great reflection of the band and how we've gone from cult heroes to stadium-fillers...I have a politcs degree."

I would've thought Elizabeth would've said if it was the band. Seems to be issues of rights..unless of course thats wot the band may be complaining about

No disrespect to anyone involved because I'm sure it's not this, but why would she even know if it was? All it would take is one of them to have a quiet word to the manager after having seen a rough cut, and even if she were aware I doubt she'd be in a rush to advertise "the band hate my documentary".

fair enough. I was thinking of stuff that could be resolved though rather than them thinking its a pile of wank. They did agree to the filming and those that have seen it say it's a good film

My take it on it would be that the band aren't interested in SATT any more...and so wouldn't be that fussed on pushing for it to come out, but I've not heard anything to suggest the band are against it....given the amount of time and effort they obviously spent and let Elizabeth document, and the ease they seem to have with here filming, it would seem unlikely.

Like the band make sure their boxsets aren't damaged and are good value for money?
