My friend bought a copy from Poundland but she had the last one, I'm off to check the new mega big Poundland in Brum later see if they have it there. I saw EMG and TIMT in there the other day for a £1. My lad reckons he saw Nicky's photo book for £3 in The Works the other day but I reckon he is just winding me up!!

Definitely buy it. I quite enjoyed it. Manics fans slag everything off because they're basically never happy, they'd only complain more if nobody had ever taken the time out to write books about them.

For a quid how you can go wrong? I bought it when it came out, it's a good read. One or two errors but aside from this it's a good book. Might read it again. It also had a picture in there I'd never seen before when I got it so that was cool

that's a shame, it's not a bad book at all. can see how it's a bit of a niche audience, though.

do pick it up though, you can't go far wrong for a pound*.

* eh, apart from 'Richard', which I wouldn't take if they were giving it out free.

I read a bit of Richard in Twisted Pepper's bookshop. I found it quite difficult and put it back on the shelf. Don't think I'll try again.

Nope, I think people from the forum said it was really bad so I never bothered with it. Just like Richard, I don't think I want to!

I bought it for one pound in Oxford (simply because you can't get anything Manics related in Czech republic, except for the albums). It's just boring, horribly written book..

why whats wrong with my grammar, you smartarse. you a english language expert then. i have better things to worry about in my life like a brother who has been missing since apr 1995 and a childhood friend who is dying of breast cancer at the age of 45 than worrying about my grammar. anyhow, thanks for all the comments saying the book isnt bad, i went back and got a copy today, started reading it before and so far so good.
