Good on em. No doubt some won't see the difference and start moaning about the closing ceremony snub, but whatever. The only bad part is they're associated with something also sponsored by ATOS.

If the BBC covers the Paralympics as comprehensively as the Olympics, TV ads are a waste of money. I haven't watched a non-BBC channel since the 26th.

Oh, that's sad news to me. Good for advertisers after all, awful for everyone else.

Very nice gesture by the Manics. I think that there's been an awful lot of over-analysis with their refusal to play the closing ceremony and Nicky's subsequent tweets. I wouldn't think that Nicky saying "we could have sold more records" is expressing serious regret or concern, just saying the first thing that comes to his head probably - Twitter is often simply a boredom tool after all, not a sounding bowl for someone's deepest hopes and fears.

Whut? That they'll get to hear the Stealth Sonic Orchestra mix of A Design For Life?

But you always get channel hoppers! They might catch an ad whilst channel surfing!
