That reworking for 'This is the Day' everytime something eventful happens is so fucking irritating!

Revelling in Dad-rock there, Nicky. A little tragic.

I fell asleep at a Tame Impala gig. True story.

I'm 33, a father and a huge fan of the stones. The new song is great. I don't think it's tragic.

So the manics are using synths, theremin. Moogs perhaps? Can't wait to hear the instrumental!

Good to see he likes the new Stones track. Hopefully this paves the way for new Manics lyrics about crashing planes in swamps and taking on hordes of zombies instead of moaning about how the end is near. Mick Jagger has changed the rules.

i have never heard of Tame Impala. does this make me older than i think, younger than i think, or just plain uneducated bordering on ignorant? i mean, other than a restful night's sleep, are they worth seeking out?

I like what I've heard by Tame Impala. Tempted by an upcoming Manchester show.

New Tame Impala record is great. They're decent live although Pond, some of whom play with Tame Impala, are superior.

riiight, that puts it at 2-1 for "yes give them a try", only the way tzb wrote "no" is kind of more impressive and heartfelt than the "yes" replies. no offence to anyone on that front.

For what it's worth, I can tell you that I saw them at Glasto in 2011 because the friend I was with wanted to see them but I wasn't really impressed because they sound difficult live, mostly because I didn't know them back then and because they're really not festival material imho. That friend suggest me to listen to their record at home, and I fell in love with Innerspeaker almost immediately
