If we could only give them such an advice (of James and Nicky singing together), or express the wish to the band themselves, maaaaaaaybe......
Are you guys reading this? (desperate question to the Manics)

James and Nicky have done a duet together before, it was called My Little Empire.

What I always find quite interesting are the tracks that Nicky claims are a clue to the future but then aren't really any such thing. SATT doesn't really sound like 'Leviathan', and neither JFPL or PFAYM really sound anything like 'Lady Lazarus'. Do the subsequent albums begin in those directions, and naturally evolve towards something else? Is there an (justifiably) abandoned, half-finished album in the vault that sounds like 'Leviathan'? Or is it just Nicky making vague predictions because the same thing once happened with 'Comfort Comes'? (Clue - it's definitely the last one).

What I want is a half-half duet where both of them have their time to show off.

Your love alone has the right amount of Nicky vocals in a song.

Could be. I am just wondering if Red Rubber might also be a signpost to the 'electronic' sounding album that has been mentioned.

Think from FB and the comments on interviews while in NZ its definitely melancholic, acoustic and probably going to be my total downfall. It's already got me hooked and sounds beautiful. I wish I had Nicky's copy so I could listen to it now.

So my idea of this album is along the lines of 'This Joke Sport Severed'/the Nicky acoustic demos of '...Bath Of Bleach' and 'Some Kind Of Nothingness' crossed with TIMTTMY. I like this idea very much. I don't know how correct it is, but I like it anyway.
