To be fair most people seem to be enjoying the new song. Any 'hate' is from silly arguments that have very little to do with the music or band themselves.

Very true. The song is pretty great and has an instant likeability about it.

Well, finally(!) got to hear WMTTB last night and love it. The lyrics aren't quite so clunky as when just written down.

As for for 4 Ever Delayed, I never understand the high esteem the band have for that song by saying it should have been a single. I like the guitar sound but the lyrics are poor and the chorus is a complete duff. It's pure B-side. Hey ho

My only complaints really are the similarity to underdogs in the singing (talking) on the verses. When is James doing to actually sing again?

I love James's voice but def prefer him singing "properly", not too keen on the "talking" bit

Well, this is my first post and I'm happy to say it's a positive one!
Loving this track, yes it's on the nose but so what? It's a great intro that on another album could have taken it in a much darker direction but instead it kicks you in the arse and you land in a glorious synth-filled 80's! Listening to this may have been the only thing that actually made my gym session a possibility this morning!
Chorus is perpetually stuck in my brain now and I really enjoyed the other three new tracks when we had them live too, especially LGTW & Europa - Futurology can't come soon enough judging by the evidence so far!

Now others bring it up, it does seem that the verses might be better suited to Nicky's vocals.

I haven't heard it since yesterday morning but I'm remembering JDB's voice as being distinctly the wrong side of Chris Martin earnestness.

Chorus is pretty good but apart from that it's not great musically...lyrics are not good.."singing it loud at the indie disco"..cringe moment..Nicky Wire was maybe going through a writers block phase and decided to write another ode to Richey..wish James would just tell him "these lyrics are crap mate so please write something better".
