It all depends what’s in the deluxe package though. I paid for the super deluxe GT because it was so good, and reasonably priced for what was inside. I didn't buy the PFAYM shoebox and the NT singles boxset though, as they weren't worth it...

they have to be invited to play festivals don't they? Doubt the organisers are aware of them tbh

Plenty of english bands play the big american festivals though, i think they probably have more than an average perception. The label could probably push it if they wanted?

Festival season is very short in North America too, unless they are playing them in southern US states. Very few bands do stadium shows here past early to mid October. It can be quite chilly.

RE: HB 20

I Hope they can play a club tour in carefully selected cities in the US. I wonder if Futurology was intentionally not available in US to allow for sales if it is released here. I'm a dreamer too!

I always thought the power chords of Revol would make a great Stealth Sonic mix.

Well, they actually say in NME that there is going to be a new release. So that's ace.

And I wonder if the army surplus place they mentioned was the place I used to go to as well inspired by THB. That would be such sublime serendipity.

I noticed they mentioned a good army surplus place in Hull. I believe from a particular anecdote at the 2010 gig it was the one down Hessle Road, which I recall being excellent.

That's what I meant. There used to be loads of good ones. Down Whitefriargate, top deck of Prinny Quay and above Jacksons on Spring Bank.
