I liked the way the email started "Dear Manic Street Preachers Fan". I'd quite like all of my correspondance to start like that.

Also had two emails. Does that mean they are sending me two boxsets?

Yep, two in fact! Had a mini heart attack thinking I'd accidentally bought two until I realised the order numbers were the same.

Yes got two. Love how they state please make sure you have the funds to pay for it! Futurolgy took around 28 days to get to New Zealand, so I have a feeling I won't be seeing my copy until the new year.

Just found some longer footage of the Astoria trashing online, how I wish the full thing had been released on DVD with this. Ah well, mine's being shipped, shouldn't complain.

They just added some jarring spoken word ? Doesn't seem particularly special. Who is it talking?

Is it one of them doing the spoken word bit? It's too fast to make out the accent.

lol, I like it, though it's a little bit silly. It's clearly James talking surely?

Yep sounds like James and sounds recorded at the time rather than added on recently

You live attached in a cowardly fashion to moral and social conventions you despise, condemn, and know lack all foundation. It is that permanent contradiction between your ideas and desires and all the dead formalities and vain pretenses of your civilization which makes you sad, troubled and unbalanced. In that intolerable conflict you lose all joy of life and all feeling of personality, because at every moment they suppress and restrain and check the free play of your powers. That's the poisoned and mortal wound of the civilized world.”

MPD ballsed my order up, but were brilliant in the end, to be fair.

I ordered two signed boxsets, one for myself and one for my Girlfriend, however they cancelled the order as they attempted to take the money out of my account a full 5 days before release. I got paid today, so i sent them a stinking email yesterday, and they emailed me back, providing me with a private link to re-order the two signed boxsets, so i ordered them this morning.

Pretty happy. Hoping they get dispatched later today or tomorrow.

Terms and conditions may apply. Your home is at risk if you do not keep up repayments. The Holy Bible 20th Anniversary is by Manic Street Preachers and releasd by Sony Music. Any similarity to any former releases of 'The Holy Bible' are purely coincidental. A møøse once bit my sister... Nø realli! etc.
