Hah, yes, I noticed that too when I watched it.

More editing from the BBC!

It was a great atmosphere throughout. Just the odd pissheads throwing bottles and barging past to get forward only to talk amongst themselves throughout the gig. Also the music from stage was very quiet but i think that's to do with the filming. Watching back on BBCIplayer it sounds awesome.

Interesting perspective, Tim.

Well that's me told then! Ha!

I stand by what I said. Some people do nothing but complain when it comes to this band and it's borderline clinical. It screams entitlement and it's annoying. If you or anyone else doesn't like my views, I really couldn't give a rat's ass.

Glad it wasn't just me who thought it was quiet. Lipstick Traces with her earplugs made me wonder if I was going deaf.

I'm quite glad I didn't have ringing ears afterwards.

The only thing I would complain about is the abysmal sound on the everlasting, james vocal was way too loud, and the awful backing track drowned out the string quartet - what's the point of having real musicians on stage if you can't hear them!

I personally thought the second setlist was just amazing, given the setting.

I would have been ok being in line with the middle of the stage but yeah my hearing has gone a bit odd! (my ears hurt a bit sometimes when I chew as well ) tbh tho most outdoor things can be a bit off with the sound? I remember hearing the Killers at V and it sounded terrible with the wind causing dips/quiet bits. Glastonbury festival is the only one i've been to where i'd say the sound was brilliant all the time.

Nice

Thanks for telling me Finn, I hadn't noticed.

Dancing Kirby deserves credit for the idea really though!

It's really disappointing there's no footage from Electric Picnic 07, when Nick completely obliterated his Maranello. If you really want to get under his skin, give him a shoddy guitar strap and just watch the magic. It puts Christian Bale to shame (god, that reference sounds kind of dated today).......
