No way! I wasn't expecting that considering they are, quite rightly, pretty secretive about their home lives. Don't think i've ever seen her before.
If only all their daughters were around the same age, i had visions of them forming a band. What a thought...

Inner eye opening to the stepped scarlet pyramid of the Eastern Seaboard Fission Authority burning beyond the green cubes of Mitsubishi Bank of America, and high and very far away he saw the spiral arms of military systems, forever beyond his reach. And somewhere he was laughing, in a white-painted loft, distant fingers caressing the deck, tears of release streaking his face. |

This is great though, it's like a generation terrorists era photo - marilyn, leopard print fur, kohl eyes, androgyny, attitude... i can only wish the manics legacy continues through their kids.

One of my oldest online friends in the US replied to a link I posted on FB about the album going to number one and then she told me she knows Julia Cumming's dad Alec and from him she found out that Julia had done a duet with JDB and thought of me straightaway! Told her to pass on the good news about the album going to number one to them!!

TSHHM isn’t on YLAINE’s level, either as a song or a breakthrough hit, but Julia will have won them more sales. Orwellian was more of a Love of Richard Nixon turn off. If only Lifeblood had a duet… Nicky, get on the case and get Miley on A Song for Departure for the Lifeblood reissue. Rewrite history and get Lifeblood 20 to No.1. Yeah, Miley on ASFD, kick TLORN off the album and then turn Glasnost into a duet between yourself and Michael Stipe. You’ve got this, chief. You’re on a roll now. |

Listening to the album again right now, still very pleased the band managed another No.1 after all this time. Hopefully it might get them a little more publicity in the media and help them with sales and even recapturing the interest of casual fans. I just hope the album can still sell a few copies over the coming weeks and not just sink like a stone and be gone from the top 100 within a fortnight!
