Apropos to the Manics if they have erased a Malignant Narcissist from their canon, in the same vein as a Teal Swan event was cancelled in London next month

I do like the video. It's another Manics video on a beach. For me it resonates due to the contrast of Ellen jumping into the sea compared to Gwen John (Aimee-Ffion Edwards) not, probably because she was related to another Narcissist scumbag. Giovanni; whoever you were, I hope you were a good man. We will find out at the 50-anniversary reissue.

Anyone remember Cornelius? Me neither.

Cant wait for thr kick off on here if it turns out they havnt deleted the Brian Warner line. I personally dont think they will have. Its not like the manics havnt sung about problematic people before. I mean they literally quoted Myra Hindley.

I won't kick off; I was appropriately responding to the person who said it would be ridiculous that they would overdub it....... when they've changed the tracklisting!!!!!

Everything will be

"I laugh when Lennon got shot" is a much, much worse line and it's still there even after supporting Paul McCartney. I think they'll sleep from be at night.

Also I remember Cornelius....

Does anyone think that the two new tracks have been presented in their original forms or remixed in line with the rest of the album?

They've both been mixed especially for this project.

So many assumptions flying around in this thread, how in god's name does anyone know if 'braindead motherfuckers' or the epicentre coda has been jettisoned? Where are the track times coming from anyway? Spotify? That's just a playlist someone has put on there.

A complete reimagining that uses the 15 incredibly good extra tracks from that era...
Lifeblood has an overall dynamic range of 5. It's hideously mastered!

I'm sure Nicky is very persuasive
They're not going to lie about James being involved. Maybe he changed his mind

Your handy cut-out-and-keep guide to what's gone where and what's been changed with KYE22:

KYE column shows where the old songs went, coloured songs in the River and Solidarity columns show which songs have been significantly altered from the original. I haven't counted tracks which have only had a few seconds added or removed, but it's interesting that that's happened to them, since it suggests that almost the entire thing has been tweaked in some way.

Tbh, I'm cautiously optimistic that Rosebud is a turd reworked and not a gem unearthed, and that it follows that KYE22 may be not what the band "originally intended", but what JDB and Erigna can rework the old material in to with all the skills and experience they've developed in the 20-odd years since hashing out the original. Could be some interesting times ahead.

26s seconds of Convalescent removed; could that be 2:09 to 2:35? Ridiculous huh? Yes I am speculating. Everything will be.
