Would have loved that.

I had loads and loads of VHS cassettes from that era.

I don't mind a YouTube sequel to Pieces Of Sleep. And even Truth & Memory.
Did they make a film for SATT?
I suppose it's the audio quality and VCR flashes and traces that made it unviable as a commercial release.
See what they mean about society could collapse with no record of what happened because it all went Digital!
Oh well, the night before practice Christmas then.

I bought one a few weeks ago... well, it was a blu ray one, but any way I still watch my many live music DVDs though on a regular basis

So excited I thought yesterday was Thursday. The video for Studies In Paralysis goes live at 5pm tomorrow https://youtu.be/kv798vBgBrA
Possibly released on other streams earlier. And as that looks like it's got a NEOW NEOW NEOW NEOW NEOW TINKLE TINKLE DERRRNERRRRDERRRRR countdown to it's premier. It looks like there's a chat box we can talk to each other in real time!

They included a dvd for the SATT special edition. Must be cost - would think they have to pay the beeb to include footage from their shows and this set isn't going to sell as well as more popular albums. I'd love that reading gig with the intro from Karl Marx ..or was it glasto ? ....there should be a law that all special editions should include totp and jools Holland appearances as a minimum

Just given it a quick listen. Not really that impressed, glad it missed out on the final cut of KYE. Nowhere near as immediate or as catchy as Rosebud. Will it grow on me? Probably not, it's a bit bland...

Like the chord progression but it feels like a rough take spruced up with a lot of overlays and mixing desk shine.

“Rosebud” felt like a finished song, a lost classic. This feels much more like a demo that they’ve given some life via production spruce up. It’s good, I enjoy it but it’s not in the same league as “Rosebud”. Will be interested to hear it in context though, definitely feels like a solid album track.

VPN set to NZ, search for Studies in Paralysis and one of the results is a Google video of the audio track.
