Thank you (I think) except now I need it for my continued existence again and I still can't buy it anywhere, but thanks for finding it.

Yes, thank you, now I don't have to feel bad about throwing my Q special away.

I've now been reminded that it still suffers from that rogue apostrophe, though.

I never did understand why, in the tenth anniversary edition's booklet's notes, it was pointed out that the album's only flaw is the apostrophe in track two. You'd have thought this would have been the point where the powers that be had decided to do away with it. Fingers crossed for the 25th anniversary edition. God bless the minidisc sleeve.

Has anyone tried contacting Simon Price? In 'Everything', he lists a normal copy of the LP as well as the picture disc. Though the catalogue number quoted is 477421 1 (same as the cassette).

Just had a look on amazon as I was there anyway. They do have a THB vinyl with the number 4774210 but before you rush there to buy it, no-one got it
Actually, the 0 at the end is usually indicative of a picture disc release, while 1 is a normal LP. At least for UK releases by Sony.
I've just noticed this...

0 = LP picture disc
1 = LP
2 = cd
3 = ?
4 = Cassette
5 = cd2 in the 2 disc single sets
6 = 12" singles
7 = 7" singles
8 = Minidisks, special editions before minidisks
9 = Special editions, DVD singles and whatnot (LT digipak, Special Edition FD, etc.)

Make any sense?

i have the original advert for the album and it specifically says (something to the effect of):

"Available on CD, Picture Disc CD, Cassette, and Picture Disc LP"

If there was a black vinyl pressing then it would have probably been mentioned in the advert just as both the regular CD and Picture Disc CD were.

If there is a black vinyl version of the album, then it's most likely not a UK pressing. It may even be a bootleg European pressing (just as the Mexican TIMTTMY picture disc.)

There's the slight possibility that the vinyl was pressed afterwards (like the minidisc) but I doubt it would be so limited and elusive if there was a normal UK pressing.

Given the fact that I've never seen an actual copy for sale (eBay or otherwise), I will going to just conclude that it doesn't exist. And if I'm wrong, then I'm wrong.

Wow! What great collections you all have!

I've got pretty much all the official releases on CD (apart from MJ on CD). I also need a lot of the 7" & 12 " on vinyl and need all of the albums (except "Lifeblood") on vinyl.

Some old photos of my stuff, hence releases post-Holy Bible reissue are missing plus random other articles obtained since and some before but misplaced.

Here we go.

Oow, I've thought of another pointless collecting question - how many manics mugs are there as I'm sure I'm missing some but I don't know which as it'll be from gigs I didn't do or didn't get a chance to go to the merchanidise stand (as it was back when I didn't think sleeping on streets was perfectly sensible behaviour and you didn't used to be able to buy them pre gig) so I don't know.

I've got 9 I think so what else is there?

I think there was a June 96 one I don't have but I'm not sure what else as I didn't do gigs before then, the 96 one may have had the mute icons quote everything seemed to that summer but I'm more than likely wrong.

I do have - hell is other people, everyone is guilty of the good they didn't do, nynex, red and black ones from the 98 tours, millenium mug (the best as it holds the most tea), KYE faded one, fd one, and the rubbish lifeblood one if that helps.

I've got that too and when I showed James he said "oh bloody hell I am really sorry about that" - like he proof reads them or something - I asked him to correct the spelling but he said Nicky had to do that!
