Sean on backing vocals? o rly?

Hey everyone, I was just browsing Wiki (oh, almighty, all knowing!) and came across this bit of info on the Generation Terrorists page:

James Dean Bradfield – vocals, guitars
Sean Moore – drums, percussion, backing vocals
Richey James – guitar
Nicky Wire – bass

Sean on vocals? Does anybody know if a. this is true at all, and b. on what song(s) he apparently does said backing vocals?

Are you lying to me, Wiki? I thought we had something special...

He does the backing on Born to End (the rather high vocals that isnt James).
That 'Richey James - Guitar' credit is slightly more dubious

Yeah, there's born to end and some backing on lifeblood songs too.

Really? Thanks for the info!

Haha yes, I was thinking that, too.. they could hardly say 'Richey James - Nothing, really' could they...?

Takk, do you happen to know which Lifeblood songs? Now I want to know everything there is to know about Sean and backing vocals

There was an MP3 of 'Solitude Sometimes Is' floating around recently in which someone had isolated Sean's backing vocal.

Yep, it's 'Solitude Sometimes Is', Sean has a very Bowie-esque voice on the backing tracks - if he only would consider releasing a solo LP..that would be fabulous.

Can someone upload this for me, please? I listened to the song but I always find it very hard to make out backing vocals when they're 'hidden' behind the lead vocals... if that makes any sense!

And yeah, I'd love for Sean to make a solo record, but I very much doubt it'll ever happen... he said in that Q Magazine interview "I'll never make a solo record. What would I contribute to the world?"

The credits for that album are completely corrupt anyway, since only James played anything and Sean programmed the drum machine.

And Sean already has a solo project, on MySpace

I thought it was more Peter Gabriel in 1972. If he reads that, he's never going to sing back up again! Frodo! Come back! A madness took me!
...and when he reads about me calling him Frodo...it's was a classical reference! Honest!

Oh yeah, very true!

Haha, that techno thing where it says "Musical influences: I killed the shitegeist lolol"? That was pretty hilarious. He should do that, though... a techno album. He'd be good at it.

OI! That makes JDB Phil Collins. I'm having none of that!

...but he IS pretty much a hobbit. Hobbits don't age very quickly, do they? And, well, they're... small... and stuff.

Better Collins than Ray Wilson!!!
Just keep James away from the brass section-oh too fucking late! Now I've got "Easy Lover" in my head!

I heard once that he did the backing vocals on Roses In The Hospital?

I too would appreciate a re-up of that remix w/ Sean's backing vocal...

I was listening to KYE at home today (usually I just use my in-dash mp3 player in the car) and could have *sworn* I heard him on some track but I can't remember which... I'd like to listen to the SSI remix & then compare.
