What are you going to spray paint on your t-shirt?
Hooray, it's time to start picking quotes to paint on our clothes. This is still done, right? Last time I went with "Power is a word we do not yet understand" - Leo Tolstoy; the time before that was "Socialism is compatible with common decency" - G. Orwell
I'm not sure what to go with this year. Anyone got anything lined up? |

This changes on nearly a daily basis, yesterday it was going to be "Heal Yr'self. Hurt Yr'self. Judge Yr'self" the day before that it was going to be "Neon Loneliness" which I ruled out because it would feel like I was wearing a name badge the whole night which would be utterly odd and today I'm thinking it's going to be "Culture. Alienation. Boredom. Despair." Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

This is brilliant, lots more interest in the DIY again.
I won't be making a new shirt, just wearing my trusty old one that has Condemned to Rock N Roll sprayed on it, and lots of patches sewn on.

I don't think I saw anyone wearing that kind of clobber at the last gig I went to in the Barrowlands back in 2007. I'd persumed they had stopped doing it! Anyway, I too shall be mimicing the Manics, although I will be wearing something more EMG/TIMTTMY era clothing, rather than GT/THB gear!

I'm going to spray "Socially/Culturally Relevant Quote" on a shirt... But I almost feel like that will be taken as me making fun ha ha...
I would like to do "Loser/Liar/Fake/Phoney", "I'm Not Sure I Understand Ambiguity", "Obscurity is Forever", "Mama, face it. I was the slut of all-time", and "I was cured, all right".

I have got my DIY "Culture. Alienation. Boredom. Despair." one, But I'll probably make a new one when I get round to it, I found some glitter fabric paint in the back of my wardrobe the other day, so I'm gonna have to play with that at some point.

I spent the weekend at Reading Festival last year walking around half-naked with 'Motown Cunt' painted onto my back in glitter and stuff.
I'm not sure Camden, in May, is quite ready for nakedness though ... |
